4.5" (11 cm.) One-piece bisque figure of standing Kewpie,posed on self base along with a bisque candy sack against which Kewpie is leaning as though about to tie the pink pull-strings,Kewpie has classic features including blue wings which match the candy sack color,and there is a brass plaque "Let Us Be Happy". Stamped c. in circle on underside. Excellent condition. Germany,designed by Rose O'Neill,circa 1912.
