25" (64 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, rose blushed eye shadow, brushstroked brows with feathered detail, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, closed mouth, shaded and outlined lips, pierced ears, auburn mohair wig, French composition and wooden eight-loose-ball-jointed body with straight wrists, lovely antique costume. Condition: generally excellent, body is appropriate and with original finish, but not original. Marks: F. 11 G (block letters) Jumeau Medaille d'Or Paris (body). Comments: Gaultier, circa 1882. Value Points: sought-after early bebe with beautiful deep paperweight eyes, lovely complexion and painting.
