21" (53 cm.) Bisque shoulder head with rounded facial shape, blonde sculpted hair in formally arranged curls including bangs, sculpted bodice with upturned ruffled collar edged with blue design, blue glass inset eyes, painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with center accent line, softly blushed cheeks, pierced ears, muslin stitch-jointed body, leather arms,(new) bisque lower legs, nicely costumed in ivory patterned silk gown. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 123 10. Comments: Kling, Germany, circa 1880. Value Points: rare model with fancy bodice and glass eyes has beautiful gentle expression and painting, maker's signature.
