20" (51 cm.) All cloth doll with pressed and oil-painted complexion, facial features and hair, thick impasto-style painted blonde hair, stitched on blushed ears, rosy complexion, large blue eyes, red and black upper eyeliner, long curly lashes, single stroke brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth, sateen body cover, stitch-jointed oil-painted limbs, wearing antique blue and white romper suit. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Chase Stockinette Doll (Dutch girl logo on torso). Comments: Martha Chase, circa 1910. Value Points: superbly preserved condition of the well-modeled doll, seated on antique wooden ladder-back rush-seat chair.
