Description
5 1/2" (14 cm.) Bisque swivel head on elongated bisque torso, cobalt blue glass enamel eyes, painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with accent line between the lips,blonde mohair wig over cork pate, peg-jointed bisque arms and legs, ball-jointed elbows, bare feet. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Bte (torso). Comments: Fernand Sustrac, who deposed a design for the ball-jointed elbows in mignonettes no larger than 20 cm.; a similar design was deposed by Schmitt et Fils two years later. Value Points: very rare miniature doll with beautiful face and body sculpture, having (frail) original costume
