18" (46 cm). Pressed bisque socket-head with perfectly oval face, blue glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner encircles the eyecuts, painted lashes, mauve blushed eyeshadow, brush stroked and multi-feathered brows, shaded and accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with accent line between the lips, pierced ears, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body. CONDITION: generally excellent. MARKS: A. 9 T. COMMENTS: Andre Thuillier, circa 1885. VALUE POINTS: outstanding classic bebe A.T. with splendid expression, finest bisque and painting, original body, body finish, wig, chemise, undergarments, dress (frail), bonnet, socks and shoes with incised illustration of greyhound and word "Paris".
