Rare German Double-Sided Room Box with Roof Porch and Trellises

24" (61 cm.) l. x 14"h. x 18"d. An unusually-shaped double-sided room box features three rooms,a covered porch and a roof porch. The exterior windows feature hinged shutters,and there are hinged opening doors between the rooms,and a window-door leading to the covered porch. The covered porch has fancy railings and ceiling trim,and the roof porch is framed by all-around railings with ball-trimmed posts. The wall papers and curtains are original,there are potted plants along the railings of the porch,a decorated wooden porch set on the roof porch,bentwood furnishings on the covered porch,and a leaf-covered trellis on the side wall. The base is replaced,otherwise excellent and original. Germany,attributed to Moritz Gottschalk,circa 1910,a wonderful and very unusual design with porches and trellises.
