12" (30 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown glass sleep eyes, delicately-painted lashes, one-stroke brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with accent line between the lips, auburn mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent except faint hairline at back of head. Marks: 1. Comments: Simon and Halbig, from their "Roman Numeral" art character series. circa 1910. Value Points: extremely rare model with captivating expression, very lovely bisque and painting.
