Description
21" (53 cm). Composition socket-head, dark blue sleep eyes, real lashes, painted lower lashes, smoky eyeshadow, bow-shaped closed mouth, original blonde human hair in original coiffure with ringlet curls onto the shoulders and cascade of smaller curls at the back of head, five-piece composition body. Excellent condition, few very faint surface lines on face. Marks: Madame Alexander (costume). The bride wears original costume comprising embroidered tulle wedding gown with hooped taffeta underskirt and panties, shoes, socks, lace-edged veil with coronet of lilies of the valley, and carrying matching floral bouquet, original gold-paper tag "Created by Madame Alexander" on wrist. Circa 1940.
