Description
6" (15 cm.) One piece bisque head and torso, tiny glass sleep eyes in very narrow sockets, painted lashes and brows, broad nose with accent dots, closed mouth with center accent line, original brunette bobbed wig, loop-jointed bisque arms and legs in bent baby pose, bare feet. Condition: generally excellent except repair on hidden stringing loop of right leg. Marks: Copr by Grace S. Putnam Germany. Comments: Bye-lo, circa 1925. Value Points: rarer glass-eyed wigged version of the artist-designed doll, along with near mint little Scotty dog by Steiff with original red neck ribbon and bell.
