Description
7" (18 cm). One-piece composition head and torso,
painted facial features with side-glancing eyes,
tiny closed mouth, brunette mohair wig, jointed
arms and legs, painted shoes and socks. Good
condition, light facial crazing, composition
split inside upper left leg, some costume
staining. Marks: Mme Alexander (doll and costume,
also "Birthday Girl" on costume). Original
costume comprising blue cotton dress with red
rick-rack trim, stiffened yellow muslin cape with
red lined hood, petticoat, pantalets. Circa 1935.
