Description
9" (23 cm). Each has composition socket-head,
painted facial features, brown side-glancing
eyes, black mohair wig, jointed composition arms
and legs. Excellent condition, girl has tiny
split at throat. Marks: Mme Alexander (dolls and
costumes, costumes also labeled "Spanish"). The
boy and girl wear original costumes, he with
black felt pants, red shirt, straw hat with red
pom-poms, black shoes, socks; she with white
organdy blouse attached to red cotton skirt with
yellow and green rayon ribbons, black lace
mantilla, chemise, shoes and socks. Circa 1939.
