Description
7" (18 cm). Each has one piece composition head
and torso, painted facial features, side-glancing
blue eyes, tiny closed mouth, blonde or light
brown mohair wig, jointed arms and legs with
painted shoes and socks. Excellent condition,
slight craze line above his lip. Marks: Mme.
Alexander (dolls) Charles Dickens "David
Copperfield" (costume tag on boy). Each doll
wears original factory costume, he with striped
pants, wide collar shirt with bow-tie, black felt
jacket and hat; she with mauve taffeta dress with
rick-rack trim, organdy apron and collar, slip,
panties. Circa 1935.
