Description
13" (33 cm). Composition socket-head, brown sleep
eyes, real lashes, painted lower lashes, open
mouth, four teeth, blonde mohair wig, five-piece
composition body. Good condition, some craze
lines on face, split by right eye. Marks: 13
(torso) Kate Greenaway Madame Alexander (costume
tag). The doll wears her original costume of
cream cotton with floral patterned borders at
bodice and hem, and on sleeves and matching
purse, orange taffeta bonnet, black lace
fingerless gloves, slip, panties with red ribbon
lacing, black strap shoes, socks. Circa 1940.
