Description
18" (46 cm.) 18" x 10" x 8". The wooden two story house with painted blue roof features gilded pressed cardboard porch railings on each balconied floor, wooden porch railings, faux marble base, two hinged doors with classic Gottschalk door knockers, glass windows on front and sides, well detailed lithographed architectural features including attic window. The front hinges open to reveal two rooms and two foyer rooms with an elevator at the back that operates from a turning lever at the house exterior. The house has all original interior wall and floor papers, and lace curtains. The elevator functions. Germany, Gottschalk, circa 1900. Provenance: Legoland Museum.
