Description
10" (25 cm.) Each is one-piece all-bisque head,torso and legs of standing Kewpie with classic features including topknot,forelock curl,side curls,blue wings,and painted side-glancing googly eyes with thickly-fringed upper lashes,white eyedots,loop-jointed arms. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: O'Neill (on feet of smaller,and one original paper label) (red heart paper label on larger). Comments: Kewpie,designed by Rose O'Neill,made in Germany,circa 1910. Value Points: very rare large size of the all-bisque model is enhanced with fine detail of painting and blush.
