12" (30 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head,blue glass spiral-threaded inset eyes,painted curly lashes,feathered brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth with center accent line,pierced ears,brunette human hair wig,Sonneberg composition and wooden fully-jointed body with straight wrists,nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 51/5. Comments: Sonneberg,circa 1885,mystery maker although the doll closely resembles the Simon and Halbig 900 series. Value Points: most endearing expression with beautiful eyes,choice bisque.
