4.5" (11 cm.) h. chairs. Of very heavy pressed paper and with wooden legs,the ensemble comprises a settee,three armchairs,and a table,each with original cream and gilt painted finish,and enhanced by raised and cutwork designs to simulate carving,with original fabric cushions on chairs. Excellent condition. French,circa 1860,an outstanding early set that is very rare and wonderfully-preserved.
