5" (13 cm.) One-piece all-bisque head and torso with heart-shaped face and elongated throat,narrow brown glass eyes,painted lashes and brows,closed mouth in wide smile,painted teeth,brunette human hair wig,loop-jointed bisque arms and legs,pointing right index finger,painted high white stockings with black one-strap shoes,nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: J.I.O. c. 1919 47 (incised) Vivi c. 1920 J.I. Orsini... (original paper label). Comments: Germany,1920,designed by the American artist Jeanne Orsini. Value Points: rare all-bisque character with enchanting expression,fine bisque and painting,original paper label.
