27" (69 cm.) h. tent. 24" x 18" circus ring. 5 1/2"-8" figures. A canvas tent with Schoenhut labeling and having balancing rods and decorative flags is designed for display with the original circus platform and ring,and the four display barrels and ladder. Circus animals,each of carved wood with painted well-defined features,include horse,mule,goat,dog,lion,buffalo,elephant,and tiger. and circus performers include bare back rider,ringmaster,two clowns,hobo and black dude. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Schoenhut,circa 1925,the reduced size set of the beloved circus. Value Points: wonderful set with rare animals,each with original finish,along with rare circus tent,and preserved in its original labeled,albeit worn,box.
