Wax swivel head with angular face, black bead eyes, white mohair rolled curls, wooden carved torso, lower arms and legs from above the knee, painted gold boots, wearing original burgundy silk costume heavily encrusted with beading, and silver bells, matching head-dress, with detachable carved wooden angel with elaborately painted feathered detail and red/blue shaded polychromed finish. Excellent condition. Continental, late 1700s.
