Description
Each is a luxury souvenir of an elegant Viennese ball, designed as a remembrance of the significance of that particular formal ball; many include a list of dances designed for a gentleman to write his name, reserving that dance. Including 5" burgundy velvet plaque with easel back and raised silver figurals suggesting a bountiful harvest, illegible label below; 2 1/2"h. medallion with miniature fez and treasure chest, tassels, and dance card with pencil attached at back indicating 1890 ball for non-comissioned officers; and shield-shaped medallion with raised gilt metal design of armor and shields which hinges open to dance card for 1884 dance party of 84th infantry volunteers.
