14" (36 cm.) including headdress. Polychromed carved wooden swivel head, delicate complexion, painted brown eyes with shadow, closed mouth, sculpted brown curly hair and gilt crown set with painted jewels, wooden torso and lower arms and legs, painted green fancy boots, wearing original velvet burgundy costume with gilt threading, elaborate velour headdress, and artistically-painted heavy paper board wings. Excellent condition. Neapolitan, mid-1700s.
