13" (33 cm.) Solid domed bisque shoulderhead, blue glass inset eyes, painted lashes and brows, outlined eyes, closed mouth with accent line between the lips, bisque lower arms and legs with bare feet, bisque hips, sateen-twill covered midriff, and upper arms and legs. Condition: there is a retouch to finish at back shoulderplate, and legs are not original. Comments: Jules Steiner, circa 1870. Value Points: rare early doll, inspired by the Japanese Ichimatsu doll, in especially rare to find petite size.
