20" (51 cm.) Sculpted shoulder head depicting an older boy, with heart-shaped face, elongated throat, squinting blue enamel glass eyes, furrowed brows and cheeks as though scowling, closed mouth with two sculpted teeth, ash blonde mohair wig, cloth slender elongated body, sculpted arms and lower legs, painted sneakers, wearing artist- made woolen pants, suspenders, green woolen sweater, plaid shirt. Condition: generally excellent, roughness at back lower shoulderplate may be original in the making. Marks: Anne Mitrani 1988. Comments: French, the celebrated artist Anne Mitrani, 1988. Value Points: outstanding sculpture and painting on the very rare doll.
