Description
10" (25 cm.) Each has paper mache shoulderhead with painted facial features, sculpted hair, slender kid body, wooden lower limbs, including woman with long ringlet curls onto her shoulders and braided chignon at back of head, blue eyes, original undergarments; and boy with short sculpted black hair under attached brimmed oilcloth cap, brown eyes, wearing original suit. Condition: very good, original finish, albeit rubbed. Comments: Germany, circa 1850. Value Points: sought after early dolls.
