9.5" (24 cm.) Paper mache shoulderhead, black sculpted hair with poufs of curls at each side of face and a high "beehive" arrangement at crown, painted brown eyes, closed mouth, slender kid body, wooden lower limbs. Condition: very good, original finish with rubs. Comments: Germany, circa 1840. Value Points: rare coiffure, sturdy body, wearing original costume.
