Bisque socket head, plump cheeks, blue glass inset eyes with spiral threading, dark eyeliner, painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth, accent line between the pale lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig, French composition and wooden eight-loose-ball-jointed body with straight wrists, flat-cut derriere. Condition: there is professional restoration on left back side of head (over hairline). Marks: 4/0 Sch (in shield, head) Sch (in shield on derriere). Comments: Schmitt et Fils, circa 1880. Value Points: very beautiful and rare petite size of the dainty French bebe, original body and body finish, blue silk dress included.
