Description
1.5" (4 cm.) -2 1/2" dolls, 4 1/2" full dolls. 8" doll on pedestal. Each is porcelain half-doll, three with arms extended in elegant manner and having sculpted hair in ornate manner, with decorative flowers in hair or hands, the fourth with arms folded onto bosom and mohair wig. Each is attached to original base: the green-skirted lady has powder box under silk skirt with original label "Made in France"; the pink dressed lady has cloth lower body; the seated lady has pin- cushion base under silk skirt and with extended porcelain legs; and the fourth has lace-covered pincushion skirt and is posed atop a gilt wooden pedestal. Excellent condition. Circa 1910, a wonderful diminutive presentation.
