A pasteboard box with elaborately scrolled cover design and small image of Fanny Gray in feeding the chickens costume, contains one Fanny head, and five vignette costumes that illustrate various parts of the storyline from the book "Fanny Gray, History of Her Life" (included). Also included is a 6" x 8" background depicting the cottage where Fanny lived. Heavy box wear, neck bend on doll, some spotting, overall good. Published by Crosby, Nichols & Co, printed by S.W. Chandler,Boston,1854. Along with The History and Adventures of Little Henry, written by Doctor Walcot, 1830, with storybook, leaf protector, paper doll and six costumes. The book folio is worn, book is very good with some light spotting, paper doll and costumes excellent.
