Description
11" (28 cm.) Hard plastic socket head, sleep eyes, auburn caracul wig, mouth with open hole for bottle nipple, five-piece body. The doll is presented in original layette box, never opened or played with which contains bottle, bubble pipe, spoon, sponge, booklet "What Every Young Doll Mother Should Know", wearing diaper and shirt, and also owns pink dress with lace and matching bonnet, night gown with slippers, Cashmere Bouquet soap with label "A Style Creation Designed and Tailored by Effanbee". Condition: generally excellent, unplayed with, some dustiness on box, age spot on edge of nightgown. Comments: Effanbee, circa 1940. Value Points: rare presentation set, unplayed with condition, original tags, with original FAO Schwarz store label on the box.
