Description
14" (36 cm.) Composition shoulderhead with sculpted short hair brushed across the forehead, painted facial features, blue painted eyes and eye shadow, very chubby cheeks with impressed dimples, small impish smile, muslin torso, jointed composition arms and legs. Condition: generally excellent, some craquelure along seam line at crown, wear on legs under costume. Marks: c. by Grace Corry. Comments: Madame Hendron, from facial model by Grace Corry Rockwell, circa 1930s. Value Points: rare model, the little girl is wearing factory original provincial costume with detailed embroidery.
