11" (28 cm.) Bisque socket head, very large blue glass enamel spiral threaded eyes, long painted lashes, brushstroked and feathered brows, accented eye corners and nostrils, closed mouth with outlined lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair curled wig over cork pate, French composition and wooden eight-ball-jointed body, wearing pretty costume and bonnet. Condition: old faint hairline from crown rim in front of ear into cheek, and from right ear to outer corner of right eye, hands not original. Marks: 1. Comments: French, circa 1878, maker uncertain. Value Points: enchanting wide-eyed doll in desirable petite size.
