Description
7" (18 cm.) Pink-tinted bisque socket head with sculpted forelock curl, painted intaglio side-glancing blue eyes, closed mouth modeled as though open with laughing expression, composition bent limb baby body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 5/0 8191 Heubach (in square) Germany. Comments: Gebruder Heubach, circa 1910. Value Points: the little fellow with great expression is posed seated with two little all-bisque dolls, one with painted eyes, body posed with bent knees for sitting and with rare painting of ankle boots; and the other with glass eyes and jointed body.
