Hard plastic socket head with sculpted short curly baby hair, sleep eyes, real lashes, hole in mouth for baby bottle nipple, five-piece baby body, Condition: near mint, unplayed with in original box (box has wear and dents). Comments: Tiny Tears, American Character, 1950s. Value Points: in fresh unplayed with condition, the doll is still ribbon-tied in original box labeled "I'm lovable Tiny Tears, the doll that cries real tears", wearing waffle-weave romper suit monogrammed "Tiny Tears", and owns an additional dress, bonnet and diaper, along with bottle, wash cloth, Kleenex, soap, along with a birthday card from Sweet Sue and a pamphlet about all the available American Character dolls.
