Description
15" (38 cm.) Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulderplate, blue glass inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes and brows, closed mouth, row of daintily-painted teeth between outlined lips, pierced ears, blonde mohair wig, kid lady body with gusset-jointing at hips and knees. Condition: generally excellent, kid of arms is a bit weak. Marks: 911 # 5. Comments: Alt, Beck and Gottschalk, circa 1885. Value Points: rare model with very expressive eyes, rare painted teeth, antique red woolen suit with soutache embroidery.
