Description
5 1/2" (14 cm.) One-piece bisque head and torso, plumply modeled face, brown glass inset eyes, painted lashes, brushstroked brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with downcast expression, brunette mohair wig, peg-jointed bisque arms and legs, painted white stockings and brown ankle boots with black lacing and tips, nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: German, attributed to Alt, Beck and Gottschalk, circa 1890. Value Points pretty plump-faced child has ankle boots.
