20" (51 cm.) Bisque socket head with brown complexion, brown glass sleep eyes, dark eyeliner, painted curly lashes, incised eyeliner, black brushstroked brows, accented nostrils, open mouth, four porcelain teeth, pierced ears, black mohair wig, brown composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: SH 1039 8 1/2 dep. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1895. Value Points: beautiful brown complexion enhanced by deep modeling of features such as dimpled chin and philtrum.
