Description
14" (36 cm.) Bisque socket head, brown complexion, brown glass inset eyes, black curly lashes, black brushstroked brows, accented nostrils, open mouth, row of tiny porcelain teeth, pierced ears, dimpled chin, black mohair fleecy hair, brown composition and wooden fully-jointed body with straight wrists, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent, wig pulls all around the crown rim (under wig). Marks: S 5 H 759 dep. Comments: Simon and Halbig, circa 1890. Value Points: beautiful brown complexion and facial features, original body and body finish, on the very rarely found early model.
