10" (25 cm.) l. rocking horse. Including wooden painted rocking horse; wooden pull-toy dappled horse on platform base with painted saddle blanket; earthenware double-figure of couple labeled "Herr Doctor" depicting woman sticking out her tongue for an amusing street scene exam; earthenware figure of old village woman balancing a tray of food on her head; stoneware jug; and a fine early painting on board depicting a village man clasping a stein while three frolicking children are alongside. Excellent condition. 1800s.
