Description
8" (20 cm.) l. animals. Including seven wooden animals, each with original finish: leopard with ball-swivel neck, glass eyes, rope tail, leather ears; two white poodles with cloth ruffs and glass eyes, rope tail; two donkeys with glass eyes; buffalo with carved mane and painted eyes; buffalo with cloth ruff and glass eyes; and earliest period lion with glass eyes, cloth muff. Also included is a bisque-head acrobat with sculpted black hair and moustache, two chairs, four various circus props. Good to excellent, all original finishes with some slight scuffing, ruff on lion is worn. Schoenhut, circa 1910.
