Description
16" (41 cm.) Bisque socket head, blue glass paperweight inset eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes and brows, accented eye corners, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with shaded and outlined lips, pierced ears, French composition and wooden fully-jointed body, antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Tete Jumeau Bte SGDG 7 (and artist check marks, head) Jumeau Medaille d'Or Paris (body). Comments: Emile Jumeau, circa 1888. Value Points: very lovely creamy pale bisque enhanced by wide-eyed expression, original signed body.
