Description
18" (46 cm.) Bisque shoulderhead with sculpted detail of bodice, blonde sculpted hair in arranged curls close to head, blue glass inset eyes, painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth with pale lips accented by center line, pierced ears, muslin body, bisque lower limbs, antique costume. Condition: few typical flakes on flower tips, back of shoulderplate has retouch, body not original. Marks: 161-9. Comments: Kling, circa 1870. Value Points: rare cluster of pansies accentuates her hair in three different color variations, glass eyes, fancy bodice with rows of collar and neckline ruffles.
