17" (43 cm.) Bisque socket head with rich amber complexion heightened by softly blushed cheeks, narrow brown glass sleep eyes, painted short upper lashes, black one-stroke angled brows, accented nostrils, open mouth, outlined lips, two porcelain upper teeth, black human hair queue attached to original cap, amber composition baby body jointed at shoulders and hips. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: maker unknown but likely Asian production, circa 1915. Value Points: rare doll with excellent modeling and complexion, original body and body finish, original costume. Private collection Merle Glickman.
