Paper mache shoulderhead with slender face and elongated throat, black painted pate, painted blue outlined eyes, single-stroke brows, closed mouth, brunette mohair wig with unusual braided arrangement, shapely French kid poupee body. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: French, circa 1850. Value Points: original finish well-preserved, wearing original Turkish style costume including cotton harem pants and fitted long robe with self-covered buttons.
