19" (48 cm.) Bisque socket head with rounded plump face, blue glass side-glancing sleep eyes dark eyeliner, long painted curly lashes, single-stroke arched brows, tiny pug nose with accented nostrils, closed mouth in shape of watermelon slice, outlined impishly-smiling lips with dark outline, brunette mohair bobbed wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed toddler body with side-hip jointing, antique costume and brimmed cap. Condition: generally excellent, original body and body finish. Marks: 165/10. Comments: Hertel and Schwab, circa 1915, the model was marketed as "Jubilee Googly". Value Points: the mischievous-faced lad has very choice bisque, and is in rare large size.
