Egg-shaped black cotton doll with embroidered white eyes with black irises,brown eyeliner and brows,accented nostrils,red stitched-on lips with slightly-smiling expression,stitched ears,black muslin body with stitch jointing at shoulders,hips and knees. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: American,late 19th century. Value Points: wonderful facial expression achieved by embroidered details,pronounced ears,antique costume.
