Firmly stuffed stitched-on head with oil-painted complexion,hair and facial features,outlined blue eyes,outlined nose,painted smiling mouth with row of tiny teeth,stitch jointing at shoulders,hips and knees,varnished lower arms,antique costume. Condition: generally excellent,some fading of features. Comments: American,circa 1885. Value Points: well-preserved original finish of the large folk doll with rich complexion.
