Of black cotton with slight sateen finish,having stitched-on wool fleeced curls,embroidered facial features,embroidered brown and white eyes,red nostrils accent dots,stitched mouth,black cotton with stitch-jointed arms and legs. Condition: generally excellent,some wear to body,costume a tad frail. Comments: American,late 19th century. Value Points: imaginative embroidered facial features,whimsical original costume,with a pair of wooden doll chairs having lithographed designs.
