Firmly-stuffed doll of soft kidskin with tinted brown complexion,flat-dimensional face with painted features,small blue eyes,brown outlined nose,closed mouth with outlined smile,black fleecy tightly-looped hair,stitch jointing at hips and knees,stitch-defined fingers. Condition: generally excellent,some color run to facial feature paint appears original in the creation. Comments: American,late 1800s. Value Points: rare kidskin medium on the highly-personalized doll,wearing original dapper costume. The doll appeared in the early black doll collection of Lenon Hoyte known as Aunt Len's Doll and Toy Museum.
